Neil Fellows

​​

 

  • Born in Urmston (Manchester, England)

​

  • He studied musicology at the University of Edinburgh, where he received a Bachelor of Music with distinction.

 

  • With a scholarship he went to Hamburg, where he studied horn and piano and also completed his solo diploma with distinction.

​

  • Member as a trumpeter in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britan, Scottish Opera, Hamburger Symphoniker, Hebrides Ensemble, Hamburg Brass and others

​

  • From 1978 to 2009 he was a solo trumpeter in the Philharmonic Orchestra of the state capital of Schleswig-Holstein - Kiel.

​

  • Also participates in: Hamburg State Opera, Orchestra of the North German Broadcasting Corporation (NDR)

​

  • Conductor of the orchestra of the Ernst Barlach Gymnasium Kiel and of the Kiel Mandolin Orchestra Kiel.

​

  • Many years of teaching work as professor of horn at the Schleswig Holstein State Youth Orchestra, among others.

​

  • Invitations to national and international courses as conductor, chamber music tutor and repeater, also for European Suzuki Association exams.
